Hi,
This is the first time I post in this forum and I would like you to reply two questions I have.
What does it mean units? In the NFL Forum I read that some posters write things like this:
"stlo -6
ne ov 43
2 units each
ytd: 13-5 +35 1/2 units"
One more questions:
I have read that in your online sportsbook you can buy half a point. But, in mine (Sportingbet, I live in Europe so I can't use the same sports gaming sites as you do) I can buy as many as I want. For instance in Monday N¡ght Football today I can bet for Denever from +0.0 until -14.0 and for Cincinnati from +0.0 until +14.0. Can it be done that in American oriented sportsbooks?
Another question: In the "Daily Reporter News" in this website I have read that most sporsbooks are trying to get into the casino or poker business because of the risks that they have to take with sports betting. Are there so many risks for sportsbook as it's stated in this article? If there are how can there be so important companies as Sportingbet, BetonSports, Betcorp, William Hill and Lebrokes that get so many benefits?
The last but one question: In the country I live there's not much tradition with sports betting and I would like to know: how popular is it in the United States? Is it something normal or considered normal or is somethig that only a few people do?
Thanks.
